Casa W Olhão is a concept of 3 eco-friendly fishermen's houses.

They are located right in the centre of the old town of Olhão.

Casa W Olhão LIBERDADE is the fisherman's house with a large roof terrace of 70m². The house is on one level and very bright. A bedroom with a 160x200cm bed, a dressing room, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and a very large terrace. The house has an independent office for teleworking.

The historic old town of Olhão still has its fishermen who walk here and there in the streets on foot or by bike, a bucket in hand with the remains of a catch, talking loudly and giving their neighborhood this unique atmosphere. The fisherman's house Casa W Olhão LIBERDADE is a bungalow on the corner of small cobbled streets. The large terrace was used to dry the fish in the open air and the sun. This house is 450 meters from the seafront.

This fisherman's house with a large green roof terrace is distributed as follows: on the ground floor, an entrance hall with a long corridor made of cement tiles, opens onto a dressing room with two windows and a pretty desk, a bedroom with a large double bed and a window, a bathroom with a double sink, a walk-in shower, a toilet and a window, a living room including a lounge-dining room and a window; and a fully equipped kitchen with a glass door opening onto a pretty little patio with an exterior door opening onto the semi-pedestrian street. In this small patio is planted a superb palm tree over 6 meters high, around which winds an external staircase that provides access to a roof terrace furnished with different areas for dining or relaxing. A large part of the terrace is protected from the sun by a large pergola in which palm leaves are invited. It is a real living space. This fisherman's house has been renovated while retaining all its original elements, such as part of its distinctive entrance floor, its ceilings, its interior shutters and its tiles representing flowers. The superb chimney of the roofs of Olhão remains a centerpiece of this house.

We want to work to preserve the nature of our city and the Ria Formosa while maintaining optimal comfort for our guests. In order to reduce the impact of tourism on the Ria Formosa, a UNESCO heritage site, Casa W Olhão houses adopt an eco-friendly operation. This one is considered to be ecological products, sorting bins, household linen from an old Portuguese spinning mill, a layout with upcycling furniture, recycled toilet paper and paper towels, LED lighting, etc.

During the day, take the ferry to the beaches of the islands opposite the city, and on the way back, stroll along the seafront, sit on one of the many terraces to cool off. The bars and restaurants are open all year round. To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we have everything you need: TV with cable channels, Netflix is available with your account, WIFI available even on the terrace.

In the shower room: towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper and hair dryer.

Amenities in the rooms: sheets, pillows, duvet. In the dressing room, a wardrobe, a rack with hangers, a desk.

For the beach, a basket with beach towels, an insulated backpack, freezer ice packs, an umbrella and a set of rackets.

On the roof terrace with pergola, a counter with sink allowing you to cook on a plancha, a refrigerator and a washing machine. There are also deckchairs, a comfortable lounge and deckchairs.

In the kitchen, induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Toaster, microwave, kettle, juicer, espresso machine, hand soap and dishwashing detergent. Washing machine and washing capsules.

Reversible air conditioning in the living room, bedroom and office-dressing room. Iron and ironing board. Smoke detectors. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

Casa W Olhão LIBERDADE is within walking distance of the covered fish and fruit and vegetable markets, shopping streets, restaurants and cafes, but remains quiet in the small streets of the center.

The ferry to the islands of Armona, Culatra and Farol is also a few minutes walk away. Free parking is available on the streets around the house. The house is located in the heart of the city. You can do everything on foot. The train station provides connections to other Algarve towns and the Spanish border. Faro Airport is just 13 km away. A car is not necessarily necessary. You can also rent bikes on site to use the Eco-Via which runs along the entire Algarve coast.
